Variation
    The original pattern used Single Crochet everywhere this uses Single Chain.
    "Single Chain" means Pull Loop straight through both the current Chain and the loop that's on the hook.
    This gives a very tight final pattern.
    
Pattern Description
    What you end up with is each Double-V has a Single I centered above it,
    and each Single I has a Double-V centered above it.
